CHEMISTRY|CLASS11|CHEMICAL BONDING2

LEWIS SYMBOLS:

* In this type of formation of a molecule ,only the outermost shell electron are involved ,known as valence electrons.

* The inner shell are not involved in  a reaction.

* G.N.LEWIS used dots to denote electrons.

 *  These dots surrounds symbols of atoms ,these symbols known as Lewis symbols

     for e.g. H . ,He. .

  IONIC BOND:

*  When a bond is formed by complete transferred of electrons from one atom to  another.so as to  complete their octet ,known as ionic or electrovalent bond.

CHEMISTRY|CLASS11|CHEMICAL BONDING 1

Chemical bond:

The force which holds atoms  together within  a molecule is called a chemical bond.

 WHY ATOMS COMBINE?

*The atoms of different element combine with each other in order to complete their octet.(eight electron in their outer most orbit ).It is LEWIS- KOSSEL approach in chemical bonding.

MODES OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION:

THIS CAN BE DONE IN TWO WAYS

1 . By complete transfer of one or more electron from one atom to another it is called  electrovalency  ,   and chemical bond formed termed as electrovalent or ionic bond.

2. By sharing of electron ,it can be done in two ways

*  when shared electron are contributed equally by both atoms, bond formed known as covalent bond.

*  when shared electron contributed by one atom of the bond, bond formed known as coordinate bond.

lecture2|class11|Error analysis

Hello friends I going to provide  you rule  how to calculate relative and percentage error in different mathematical expression ,if you have any query related to this topic leave it in comment box,I tried my level best to solve your problems..

TO IMPROVE YOUR ATTENTION THESE  NOTES ARE HANDWRITTEN .IF YOU LIKE IT AND WANT MORE MATERIAL ON THIS TOPIC WRITE ME ON COMMENT BOX..

lecture1|Class11|Physics|Dimension analysis

Today I am going to provide you the order of list of dimensions of quantities in which you require to remember it for purpose of different competition exam.

These notes are handwritten to improve your  experience if you like it and want more material on this topic then write on comment box..

A few important conversions:

i. Density:

1 kg/m3 = 10^-3 g/cm3 or

1 g/cm3 = 10^3 kg/m3

ii. Pressure:

1 N/m2 = 10 dyne/ cm2 or

1 dyne/cm2 = 0.1 N/m2.

.

iii. Coefficient of viscosity:

SI units is decapoise (N s/m2) and CGS
unit is poise.

1 poise = 10^-1 decapoise or

1 decapoise = 10 poise.

iv. Magnetic induction:

S I unit is tesla (Wb/m2) and CGS unit is
Gauss.

1 gauss = 10^-4 tesla or

1 tesla = 10^4 gauss.

v. Magnetic flux:

SI unit is weber and CGS unit is
maxwell.

1 Wb = 10^8 maxwell or

1 maxwell = 10^-8 Weber.

Lecture1|Class11|Physics|Error analysis

Significant  figure:

Today i am going to provide revision notes on significant figure..which is very significant as the exam point of view...If you have any query related to significant figure write me on comment box,we feel happy to help you...

  • All non zero digits are significant figure.

    e.g. 2.782 - 4 significant figure.

           2.36  -  3 significant figure.

    * All zero between two non zero digits are significant.

       e.g. 2.3008- 5 significant. figure.

              209 -     3 significant. figure.

    * If measurement number less than 1 the zero on the right of  decimal point and to the left of first non zero digit is non significant figure..this point gets more clear with example..

      e.g. 0.00807 -3 significant. figure

             0.008 - 1 significant. figure.

    * Trailing zero without decimal point are not significant.

       e.g. 1230 -  3 s.f.

             12300 - 3 s.f.

    * Trailing zero with decimal point are significant .

       e.g. 12.30-4 s.f.

              3.800-4 s.f.
